The controller for this website is Dominik Dotzauer, Rheinsberger Str. 76/77, 10115 Berlin, Germany, reachable at kontakt@dasstehtdir.de. Further details in the imprint.
When you open the website, technically necessary data is processed so the page can be delivered and secured.
The website runs on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data such as your IP address.
We use Matomo (self-hosted) and Counterscale (on Cloudflare) for website analytics. They count page views and anonymous events in the quizzes, for example whether a result was shown.
A selfie you use in the color or undertone quiz is analyzed in your browser and is not sent to us for that. It is only stored if you create a share page with your photo yourself. In that case we store the photo, the result and the time on our server at Cloudflare until you ask us to delete it. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by email.
After a color quiz you can have your colors emailed to you as a shopping card. For this we store your email address, language, the quiz, your result, your rule and the colors of your palette, plus the wording of your consent and the times of sign-up, confirmation and sending. No photo is sent for this.
We use double opt-in: first you get an email with a confirmation link. Only after you click it do we send you the shopping card and occasional style tips from FitsYou. Without confirmation you get no further emails.
The data is stored in Cloudflare's data store (Cloudflare Workers KV), and the emails are sent through Cloudflare Email Service (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). To prevent abuse we briefly count how often an IP address submits the form; this counter expires after one hour.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by emailing kontakt@dasstehtdir.de. After unsubscribing you get no more emails. We keep the entry with your consent and unsubscribe time as proof; on request we delete it completely.
Entries from the earlier beta list (email, result and, if provided, photo) stay stored until you ask us to delete them by emailing kontakt@dasstehtdir.de.
Some links lead to Amazon and contain our partner tag. Once you click one, Amazon's privacy notice applies from there.
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing.
