How to measure your foot
How to measure your foot length properly:
- Stand barefoot on a sheet of paper and trace your foot with the pen held upright.
- Measure from the heel to the longest toe.
- Measure both feet and use the longer one.
Do not add anything to the measured length. The chart maps the foot length straight to a size. It only covers the lengths listed, and it says nothing about values in between.
EU, UK and US side by side
EU sizes count the last in Paris points, UK and US sizes count in inches and start from a different zero. That is why the numbers look so far apart while the shoe is the same length.
In the ISO assignment the US number is 2 above the UK number for women and 1 above for men. When in doubt, go by the foot length in cm, it is unambiguous.
